Yale University Chemistry Research Building - SILVER

(6/10/2010) Completed in 2005, the 105,000 square foot state-of-the-art Class of 1954 Chemistry Research Building (CRB) was Yale's pilot LEED project and paved the way for later green building initiatives at the University. The CRB, which received a LEED-NC Silver rating from the US Green Building Council in 2006, served as a proving ground for many energy, water, and resource efficiency strategies that have since been used in designs for other Yale buildings.
